Jamaican-born reggae singer Richie
Stephens will be joined by Etana, Jah
Melody, and Duane Stephenson on Sunday,
April 20 at Brooklyn College Performing Arts
Center in New York City for a concert
benefitting Team Jamaica Bickle (TJB).
The concert
begins at 7pm at the Brooklyn College Walt
Whitman Theater, 2900 Campus Road Brooklyn,
New York, NY. Organized by TJB and VP
Records, the concert will raise funds to
help provide scholarships to Jamaican
runners and help the team attend the Penn
Relays and the Beijing Olympics.
TJB founder Irwine Clare urged
Jamaican nationals to support the event,
stressing that the concert fundraiser is a
patriotic venture, explaining that "Jamaican
nationals who get joy in seeing their flags
at Penn and at the Olympics need to support
this event since it is a direct way of
helping the athletes and supporters who make
the journey all possible."
Tickets are going fast and can be obtained
at http

calling 718-523-2861.
