  • New generation of female reggae artists?

I'm researching other rising female reggae musicians who are helping build the next generation of reggae sounds by blending dub, reggae, and dancehall music with other modern forms. Santigold has released a few punk-dub tracks but she's generally more pop than dub or reggae.

What other female reggae musicians are making waves and fusing reggae into a modern sound?

    Peace

Greta Frost ; I don't know her personally but she works alot with Upsetta Sound label ,she's also appeared on our soon to be released Alpha boy's benefit EP ,she has a very smooth flowing vocal style and her works that I've heard including the tune she voiced at Upsetta on one of our riddims are superb ,I think she covers a multitude of music genres according to her myspace page but non the less for me a superb female vocalist suited to the reggae sound. She's also appeared on Upsetta Sound's 'Cuss Fix' album.
