420JamFest II, a multi-jam-band festival celebrating Earth Day on April 18-20, 2008 in Gore, VA, is offering 2 free general admission tickets to JamBase members. The prize is worth $150.
420JamFest is a 3-day muscical celebration of Earth Day. Although most of the artists in the lineups are jam bands with strong rock, funk, and folk influences, reggae jam band The I*ternals and Virginia reggae artist iRon Lion will both appear in the show, bringing a roots sound to the proceedings.
Other bands scheduled for the event include: Juggling Suns, Zen, Laidback, Lagerhead, Earthtone, Lucid, 3 Fifths, Curious Strange, The Magic Voyagers, Onthebus, Discordian Society, Data Frogs, Trees, ErthaN, Drop Electric, Future, Rushing Hayden, Feinwood, Drymill Road, and Good Dog. The festival will be held on the 3000 acre Cove Campground in the Shenandoah Mountains in Gore, Virgina. The venue will also offer primitive tent camping, a Kids Kamp, Drum Circles, an Artist Village, Food, RV camping with no hook-ups, modern showers with hot water, and much more.
